Another Great result for Raps Racing, 1st and 2nd in Seniors and Juniors

On a very windy day, Sutton Atkins won the 2011 Senior Mens British Championship marathon at Hillingdon cycle circuit closely followed by Dan Ibbotson in 2nd. Max Rothwell won the Junior British Marathon with George Kirkman taking 2nd place. And a special welcome to our new team mate Tegan Roffe from New Zealand.

Well done to whole team for a great day and some great teamwork.

Well done to all our skaters at the European Championships, with some impressive records set by our Cadet Girl - Lydia Bunn, beating the Senior record on 2 occasions, and well done to Max Rothwell and Matt Cardell-Williams. Raps Racing made up 50% of the GB Team this year.

British Championships 3rd and 4th July 2010 - to be held at Birmingham Wheels.

Extremely cold day, which didnt stop the fantastic racing, by Raps Racing.

Well done to all the Raps skaters, with a 3 out of 3 for Max Rothwell. Great efforts from George Kirkman and Dave Garnet with more Medals taken by Danielle Smith and Chloe Astle.

The final 10K race was a great race, with Dan Ibbotson doing a lot of work to shake a very unfit V Henry, who had to rely on his sprint, and sit in not working all race to achieve a result.

The heat was on, both on and off the track at Gross Gerau this weekend. Dan Ibbotson, Danielle Smith and Matt Price, all set personal bests, with 4 Unofficial British Records broken.

Dan and Danielle are back in the UK racing at Birmingham next Sunday with the rest of the team, while Matt fly's back to Australia to get ready for the Asian Inline Cup.

What a great start to the outdoor season, with the club taking most of the medals in Cat 1 and Cat 2

The big race of the Day was the 10k, which 2 of the club members managed to lap the pack and eventually finishing 1st and 3rd.

A great result for Raps Racing with at least 4 Gold medals and plenty of other medals. A good start for both our 2 new members, Matt Cardell and Max Rothwell, taking medals at the Championships, a great comeback from Chris Orgill after not skating for 2 years, to take the Senior Mens Title.

The Indoor Championships are not far away, and this year are very local for us, so we are expecting a good club turn out.

Jessica Guadesaboos Finishes 2nd Overall. Danielle comes 2nd overall in her Age Group. A very good race although the weather was colder than expected.
